Oregon Tourism Leadership Academy wrapped our first session last week in Sunriver Resort while meticulously practicing all precuations required for Covid-19 saftey.
During these three days, we took a deep dive into the Oregon tourism landscape, how it was shaped and how we will continue to evolve as we move into the future.
We had thoughtful and open conversations about equity and inclusion within our efforts as organizations, communities and individuals. We challenged ourse...lves and each other. We connected deeply and laughed heartily.
We formed a table of some of the most respected individuals/organizations in the tourism business and we put our thinking hats on and took our dialogue filters off.
I left feeling grateful, proud and excited for our next immersion in the fall where we will continue these conversations and work towards recovery of the industry and healing of the community. ♥︎
